for Mom

But feel free to jump in if you know.

These two are Mystery Tree #1. It's the one beside the clothesline. It puts out super-sticky seed pods before the leaves come out.

These two are Mystery Tree #2. It's in the flower bed between the clothesline and the house.

Mystery plant #1. It's in the same bed as Mystery Tree #2.

Mystery Plant #2.

Okay, before I mess this up, I'll publish these. :-)

Mom's pretty good at identifying stuff like this. :-)

They're certainly pretty and green.

(Good to have you back online!)

Nice to have you back. I'll ask Dearest to take a squizz. He's a horticulturist ~ amongst other things. I just pop stuff in the ground & hope for the best.

Mystery Tree #2
99.9% positive it is a Liriodendron tulipifera L.
Common names: tuliptree, tulip poplar, yellow poplar (but it's not a poplar)

Mystery Tree #1
This looks like a poplar leaf. I'm not sure what kind though. What color were the "seed pods"?

Plant 1 - sorta, kinda looks like Shasta daisy leaves.
Plant 2 - ???
Maybe they will soon have flowers that will help identify them.
