One would think that with almost universal internet access that this process would be easier than it used to be (and *sometimes* it is), but often it seems very difficult to find out simple information.

As an example, before our Portland trip, I googled quite a bit to make a list of various tourist attractions -- as well as parks with playgrounds where we could take our children for breaks -- and other interesting things to see. But while we were there, I kept running across things that made me say: "I wish THIS had been listed somewhere". I didn't know about the "Portland Aerial Tram" until my last day in the area, and didn't know what it was until after we arrived back home.

As for the Old Faithful eruption not being until the "next day", that seems odd. Most online sources say its regular eruptions are every 90 minutes or so. "Its average interval between eruptions is about 91 minutes, varying from 65 - 92 minutes" -- from http://www.rcn.montana.edu/Features/Detail.aspx?id=9909 and another page says it's anywhere from 68 to 94 minutes between eruptions: https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/kidsyouth/predict-old-faithful.htm ...

So I think you'd have been okay if you missed one.Wilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16358496556865231547noreply@blogger.com
